Established in 2014 by industry veteran Juan Meija, Protec Secure Card was born out of the belief that service and quality can be delivered at the highest levels to all financial institutions regardless of their size.

We did not want to establish just another card manufacturer. Our focus was on bringing the best customer service experience to the industry.

In the years that have followed PSC has continued to grow and evolve into a leader in the Financial Card industry by delivering on that belief. Led by a team that has more than 100 years of combined industry experience, PSC is focused on continued growth and improvement to provide the best possible products and services to its Domestic and International clientele.

Juan Mejia

Chief Executive Officer

With more than 30 years of experience in the sales and distribution of consumables and equipment in the plastic card industry throughout North & South America, Juan has spent that time building Product Technology Corporation (PROTEC). Juan has established quality relationships with many of the top manufacturers of the materials used in the manufacturing of plastic and paper cards. He is also co-owner of ProCard Tape, the leading US producer of overlay with mag stripe distributed throughout the card manufacturing industry. Juan has brought all his experience and relationships into the creation of Protec Secure Card (PSC) with the intent of bringing the best customer service and support to the financial card market.

Vincent Serpico

Chief Financial Officer

Vincent has a background in accounting and finance, having had started his career in public accounting more than 25 years ago. Vince has served as CFO of Checkpoint, Protec and Protec Secure Card and like Juan has developed strong and lasting relationships with customers and material suppliers in the Card Manufacturing Industry. Vince has developed strategic buying partnerships to leverage volume purchasing, favorable terms and well-managed supply chains within the marketplace. He has implemented invaluable workflows and management systems to streamline and meet the diverse needs of the market.

Suresh Kumar

Chief Operating Officer

With a background in Manufacturing and Technical Product Management Suresh brings 30 + years’ experience in the card manufacturing Industry. He holds a master’s degree in Mechanical engineering from OSU.   Suresh brings his diverse operating and team building experience, as well as his ability to identify and quickly respond to the growing needs of our industry. He has vast knowledge about EMV card migration and personalization. Suresh has held various positions throughout his career with Valid USA (formerly known as Versatile Card Technology), providing him a vast knowledge about supply chain management and long established relationships within the card industry that will help PSC grow the company and adapt to new technologies.

Allyson Jackson

Director of Client Services

Allyson joined PSC more than 6 years ago with a background in Banking and Customer Support, after graduating from Monmouth University, majoring in Applied Communication. Allyson has become the main point of contact for all clients at PSC and has used her vast experience and skills in customer service and support to provide the best possible service to our clients. With Allyson leading the Customer Service team at PSC, our main focus continues to be on responsiveness and efficiency ensuring all customers are completely satisfied with their card purchasing experience.

Litzey Abreu

Supply Chain & Logistics Officer

Litzey is an Industrial Engineer with an Advanced Management Program Certification.  Litzey has 24 years of experience in Card Manufacturing and Security Document Printing. Prior to moving to New Jersey and joining Protec Secure Card (PSC) in 2015, she worked with Thomas Greg & Sons’ in Venezuela where she gained experience as her career advanced which included Quality Control, Supply Chain and Production. Litzey’s experience was vital in the development and implementation of PSC’s Card Quality Management(CQM), Companies Payment Card Industry(PCI) and ISO 9001:2015 Documentations & Certifications. She was Operations Manager of PSC until May 2021, and now manages all Supply Chain & Logistics of the Company. In addition to the above, she maintains relationships with all raw material suppliers which is critical in maintaining mandatory delivery dates leasing to optimum levels of inventory.
